Nate Kallen Returns for a Second Season with Knight Monsters

STATELINE, NV – The Tahoe Knight Monsters, proud ECHL affiliate of the NHL’s Vegas Golden Knights and the AHL’s Henderson Silver Knights announced today that the team has agreed to terms with defenseman Nate Kallen for the 2025-26 season.   

 

Kallen, 27, is back for a second season with Tahoe after recording 28 points (7g, 21a) in 72 games played last season with the Knight Monsters.   In addition, Kallen logged five assists in eight playoff appearances as well.  
 


Prior to his time with the Knight Monsters, Kallen played overseas in Scotland with the Glasglow Clan where he registered 23 points (5g, 18a) in 39 games in 2023-24.  

 

The previous year, Kallen logged 18 points (5g, 13a) in 34 appearances with the Maine Mariners (ECHL).  The 6-0, 190-pound blueliner has posted 68 points (18g, 50a) in 159 career ECHL games split between Tahoe and Maine.  

 

Kallen earned an AHL call-up with the Springfield Thunderbirds during the 2021-22 season.   The San Diego, California resident played collegiately at Ferris State University from 2016-2020. 

 

Kallen joins Anthony Collins (F), Jake McGrew (F), Brennan Kapcheck (D), Kaelan Taylor (D), Linden Alger (D), and Olivier LeBlanc (D) on the list of players that have agreed to terms with the Knight Monsters for the 2025-26 Season.  
 


The Knight Monsters will host their Opening Weekend on October 17th, 18th, & 19th against the Idaho Steelheads at Tahoe Blue Event Center.  Ticket packages for the 2025-26 season are now available. For more information, visit www.knightmonstershockey.com
