STATELINE, NV – The Tahoe Knight Monsters, proud ECHL Affiliate of the NHL’s Vegas Golden Knights and the AHL’s Henderson Silver Knights, announced the signing of rookie defenseman Jonathan Ziskie.
Ziskie comes to the Knight Monsters after beginning his professional career at the end of last season. Ziskie split time between the ECHL’s Toledo Walleye and SPHL’s Pensacola Ice Flyers, appearing in five games and tallying two assists combined between the two teams.
The Macomb, Michigan native completed his four-year collegiate career with Niagara University last season after suiting up in 97 contests for the Purple Eagles with 24 points (8g-16a).
Standing at 6-foot-3, Ziskie brings a wealth of North American Hockey League and United States Hockey League experience to the Knight Monsters. He appeared in 15 USHL games for the Fargo Force, as well as 120 NAHL games for the Minnesota Magicians and Bismarck Bobcats from 2019-22.
The Knight Monsters open the 2026-27 season at home on Friday, October 23, as they take on the New Mexico Goatheads at Tahoe Blue Event Center.
