Knight Monsters All-Time Goalie Wins Leader Papirny Re-Signs with AHL Henderson

STATELINE, NV – The Tahoe Knight Monsters, proud ECHL Affiliate of the NHL’s Vegas Golden Knights and the AHL’s Henderson Silver Knights, announced that goaltender Jordan Papirny has re-signed with the Henderson Silver Knights. 

 

Papirny has been a key member of the Knight Monsters throughout his career, appearing in 65 games over the previous two seasons and amassing 32 wins. 

 

A native of Edmonton, Alberta, Papirny also appeared in 45 games for the Savannah Ghost Pirates, Fort Wayne Komets, and Florida Everblades. Throughout the course of his ECHL career, Papirny has made 110 ECHL appearances with 50 wins and four shutouts. 

 

Papirny rejoins the Vegas affiliation with 14 games of American Hockey League experience with the Henderson Silver Knights. During his time in the AHL, Papirny posted a .889 save percentage and a 3.58 goals-against average. 

 

The Knight Monsters open the 2026-27 season at home on Friday, October 23, as they take on the New Mexico Goatheads at Tahoe Blue Event Center.
