STATELINE, NV – The Tahoe Knight Monsters, proud ECHL Affiliate of the NHL’s Vegas Golden Knights and the AHL’s Henderson Silver Knights, announced the signing of rookie defenseman Mike Ladyman.
Ladyman joins the Knight Monsters from the Orlando Solar Bears, where he skated in two games at the end of last season following the conclusion of his collegiate career.
The Winnipeg, Manitoba D-man spent four seasons with Mount Royal University in Calgary, appearing in 112 contests with 37 points (7g-30a).
Ladyman spent three seasons in the Western Hockey League from 2018-21, appearing in 96 total games for the Spokane Chiefs and Winnipeg Ice, where he amassed 30 total points (4g-26a).
Following the conclusion of his WHL career, Ladyman put up 43 points (6g-37a) in 52 games for the Salmon Arm Silverbacks of the British Columbia Hockey League during the 2021-22 season, which led all defensemen on the club.
The Knight Monsters open the 2026-27 season at home on Friday, October 23, as they take on the New Mexico Goatheads at Tahoe Blue Event Center.
