STATELINE, NV – The Tahoe Knight Monsters, proud ECHL Affiliate of the NHL’s Vegas Golden Knights and the AHL’s Henderson Silver Knights, announced today the signing of defenseman Kaelan Taylor.
Taylor rejoins the Knight Monsters for his second full season after posting 20 points (3g-17a) in 67 games last season.
Taylor came to Tahoe at the end of the 2024-25 season, playing in five games for the Knight Monsters during their inaugural campaign, scoring a goal and an assist.
The Oceanside, California native appeared in 149 games at the collegiate level for Clarkson University in New York, including serving as captain during his final season.
Prior to joining Clarkson, Taylor spent one season in the North American Hockey League for the Corpus Christi IceRays, and later played in 105 games over two seasons for the Dubuque Fighting Saints of the United States Hockey League, serving as an alternate captain during the 2019-20 season.
The Knight Monsters open the 2026-27 season at home on Friday, October 23, as they take on the New Mexico Goatheads at Tahoe Blue Event Center.
