STATELINE, NV – The Tahoe Knight Monsters, proud ECHL Affiliate of the NHL’s Vegas Golden Knights and the AHL’s Henderson Silver Knights, announced today the signing of defenseman Tucker Ness.
Ness rejoins the Knight Monsters after appearing in 17 games at the end of the 2025-26 season, where he scored a goal and added 27 penalty minutes.
The Plymouth, Minnesota native spent four seasons at Arizona State University, where he developed a physical brand of play, appearing in 86 games over his collegiate career and tallying 102 penalty minutes and two goals.
Prior to his time as a Sun Devil, Ness appeared in 104 games with the Waterloo Black Hawks of the United States Hockey League and registered 24 points (5g-19a). Ness also recorded 218 penalty minutes in those games, including 139 during the 2021-22 campaign.
The Knight Monsters open the 2026-27 season at home on Friday, October 23, as they take on the New Mexico Goatheads at Tahoe Blue Event Center.
