STATELINE, NV – The Tahoe Knight Monsters, proud ECHL Affiliate of the NHL’s Vegas Golden Knights and the AHL’s Henderson Silver Knights, announced today the signing of forward Samuel Huo to an Amateur Tryout Agreement.
Huo joins the Knight Monsters from the University of Nebraska-Omaha, where he put up 16 points in 30 games this season for the Mavericks.
Huo previously played three seasons collegiately for the University of British Columbia, skating in 75 games and adding on 90 points in the process. Prior to beginning his collegiate career, Huo played in the Western Hockey League for the Seattle Thunderbirds and Tri-City Americans.
Huo joins the lineup ahead of St Patrick’s Weekend and will wear number 26.
The Knight Monsters return home on Friday, March 13, 2026, to take on the Kansas City Mavericks for night one of St Patrick’s Weekend at Tahoe Blue Event Center. Puck drop is at 7:00 pm, with pregame coverage on the Knight Monsters broadcast network beginning at 6:50 pm. Ticket packages for the 2025-26 season are now available.
