STATELINE, NV – The Tahoe Knight Monsters, proud ECHL Affiliate of the NHL’s Vegas Golden Knights and the AHL’s Henderson Silver Knights announced today that the team has agreed to terms with defenseman Adam Samuelsson for the 2025-26 season.
Samuelsson, 25, joins the Knight Monsters after posting 15 points in 36 games played with Sweden’s Boras HC last season. The 6-6, 240-pound defenseman has totaled 7 points (2g, 5a) in 82 career ECHL games in stints with the Jacksonville Icemen, Maine Mariners, Newfoundland Growlers and Tulsa Oilers from 2022-2024.
Prior to starting his professional career, Samuelsson registered 17 points (3g, 14a) in 43 appearances with the Ontario Hockey League’s (OHL) Sudbury Wolves during the 2019-2020 season. From 2018-2020, the White Plains, New York resident played in 43 games with the USHL’s Sioux City Musketeers, logging 14 points.
Samuelsson is the son of longtime NHL defenseman Ulf Samuelsson who played in 1,080 career NHL contests.
