STATELINE, NV – The Tahoe Knight Monsters, proud ECHL Affiliate of the NHL’s Vegas Golden Knights and the AHL’s Henderson Silver Knights announced today that the team has agreed to terms with forward Jake Durflinger for the 2025-26 season.
Durflinger, 27, joins the Knight Monsters after recording 32 points (12g, 20a) in 48 games played overseas last season with the Manchester Storm of the EIHL.
Prior to his time in England, the 5-9, 174-pound winger played two ECHL seasons with the Iowa Heartlanders posting 47 points (19g, 28a) with 194 penalty minutes in 104 appearances from 2002-2024.
The Walnut Creek, California resident played five collegiate seasons at the University of Denver (2017-2021) and Merrimack College (2021-2022) totaling 42 career points (18g, 24a) in 165 games.
