Rookie Defenseman Kaelan Taylor Returns to Tahoe

STATELINE, NV – The Tahoe Knight Monsters, proud ECHL affiliate of the NHL’s Vegas Golden Knights and the AHL’s Henderson Silver Knights announced today that the team has agreed to terms with defenseman Kaelan Taylor for the 2025-26 season.   

 

Taylor, 26, returns to the Knight Monsters after joining the team following the conclusion of his senior season at Clarkson University.  In five games with Tahoe, Taylor recorded a goal and an assist, while also making eight playoff appearances.   

 

Before joining the Knight Monsters, Taylor posted seven points in 38 games last season with Clarkson.  The 6-2, 195-pound blueliner totaled 20 points (3g, 17a) during his collegiate career with the Golden Knights.  

 

Taylor joins Anthony Collins and Jake McGrew on the list of players that have agreed to terms with the Knight Monsters for the 2025-26 Season.  



The Knight Monsters will host their Opening Weekend on October 17th, 18th, & 19th against the Idaho Steelheads at Tahoe Blue Event Center.  Ticket packages for the 2025-26 season are now available. For more information, visit www.knightmonstershockey.com
