Knight Monsters Bring Back Productive Forward Jake McGrew

STATELINE, NV – The Tahoe Knight Monsters, proud ECHL affiliate of the NHL’s Vegas Golden Knights and the AHL’s Henderson Silver Knights announced today that the team has agreed to terms with forward Jake McGrew for the 2025-26 season.

 

McGrew, 26, returns for a second season after posting 42 points (19g, 23a) in 70 games played with the Knight Monsters last season. In addition, he recorded a goal in eight playoff appearances.   

 

McGrew has totaled a balanced 56 points (28g, 28a) in 84 career ECHL games in stints with the Knight Monsters, Orlando Solar Bears and Allen Americans.  The 5-10, 183-pound forward also brings 84 games of American Hockey League experience, posting 30 points (16g, 14a) in two seasons with the San Jose Barracuda.  

 

Prior to Tahoe, McGrew played two seasons overseas in the top Swedish league (HockeyAllsvenskan) with AIK and Vasterviks IK. 

 

McGrew joins veteran forward Anthony Collins on the list of players that have agreed to terms with the Knight Monsters for the 2025-26 Season.  
 


The Knight Monsters will host their Opening Weekend on October 17th, 18th, & 19th against the Idaho Steelheads at Tahoe Blue Event Center.  Ticket packages for the 2025-26 season are now available. For more information, visit www.knightmonstershockey.com
